This is a program called Avimator, this program allows the user to create custom animations for Second Life. This allows you to have a flag on the arm and stay in that position. Very useful if we need to hide the avatar in a ball to create an Alien


Lost Chamber More and More Effects

Here are two videos of different effects but which one is better.. The two videos differ with different effects and style, using Jakes picture im trying to get a depth of field going on. The one thing that I need to work on is the timing of the effects and the translations, it’s easy to fix and will work on it closer to the Machinima.

More Work in After Effects

Jake told me to change the intro a little bit just with the speed and the Blur set of it.. This is exactly what he said

So do what he said I changed the speed of the transition and speed of it and set a Fast Blur to each layer to give it a better depth of field.

Minecraft Vs Second Life

Life would be so much easier if we could do this game in Minecraft.. I only say this because I am very adverse with Minecraft and love it, I realise that both games are Sandboxes and creative games. Here are some houses and creations I did in minecraft that would be impossible to do in Second Life but more fun to build


Outfits

Been thinking about different outfits for the Professor in the Sunken Temple brief, I found some images of different outfits that we can incorporate into the game.

We could go down the route of Indiana Jones with the typical explorer. Shirt, Pants and the Hat

I realise that this is from the same movie but it has a whole different demeanor to it. He looks like a real Professor, I think that we should go down this route of the real professor but go down the route of what Jake drew with the Antarctic gear. To make this a reality I will have to take photos of some textures of Leather and Fur, this will make it look better and fit with the style of our Environment

We just need to be able to put this into photoshop and apply it to the UV Templates. should be quite easy to do…

Second Life Machinima Titles

So for our final piece we are doing a cinematic Trailer/Short movie.. I had the task of creating the titles in After Effects, this is only the first draft but enjoy… Feedback needed.
